Family Ladder is a collage iteration of a performative text from the artist’s broader research on the conditions of artistic labour. Reflecting on her own generational trauma as part of a working class migrant family, tracing her own lineage of class struggle and gendered care work. The text is originally printed on receipt paper and is 163 cm long, the artist's height.
